Hi, I'm glad you're here!

I'm Carolina, the proud face and name behind Dagat. Nice to meet you!

Dagat, pronounced da·gat, translates to sea in Tagalog, the national language of the Philippines.

We are a handmade jewelry brand based in Montreal, QC, focusing on high quality sterling silver pieces. Everything you see, was created by me from a cozy corner of my home.

Dagat Jewelry is for every body, and meant to enhance your everyday look, helping you to bring out your most authentic and confident self.

The brand was inspired by my love for the Philippines, my sense of adventure, and the immense fascination I have for the sea, its colors, depth and magic. 

My background as a former cruise ship crew member played a role too. Dagat is the way I've found to continue to be close to the sea, while doing something I love. 

Jewelry-making has always been a passion of mine. Finally, in 2021, I got the opportunity to dive into formal learning. Fast-forward a couple of years, my passion and vision have now turned into a business. Having made Montreal my home, I can now give it the attention it truly deserves.

This is how Dagat was born! I hope you love your pieces as much as I loved making it for you.
